Our organization offers a range of programming centered on permaculture living classrooms.
Each year we collaborate with a team of community partners to host the Grow On! program, a dynamic service learning initiative that transforms the lives of young people through an 8-month urban agriculture youth entrepreneurship internship experience. The program builds on 21st Century Skills by reinforcing academic concepts in multiple teaching, learning, and working environments.
Sustainable Food Systems
We offer adaptable multi-week sustainable food systems workshops in which we explore the social and political underpinnings to food security and the poor health outcomes associated with food scarcity. Workshop often culminate with group research projects or skills-oriented teach-ins on cooking, canning, and freezing food at home.
