We are looking for a well-rounded and outgoing individual with strong farming skills and a commitment to community-based food systems to manage our half-acre urban farm. The farm manager will join a diverse team of highly committed and talented staff and volunteers. This position requires dedication and skill in working with people from many different backgrounds, personal and professional maturity, creativity, and commitment to the vision and mission of Common Good City Farm. This is a full-time, year-round position.
This position is responsible for assisting the urban farm project coordinator with daily farm operations throughout our network of urban schoolyard farms, which produce a diverse range of biologically grown fruit and vegetables for direct consumer market as well as educational programs. This position reports directly to the urban farm project coordinator and works in partnership with the executive director.
A work share member is someone who commits to volunteering to work on our farm on a weekly basis throughout the season in lieu of paying full membership to our Community Supported Agriculture program.
